1. 2 Schengen Application forms dully filled out and signed ⮟

• All forms should be type or filled with Blue ink pen.
• Must bear original signatures of the applicant with blue pen on the application form
• Two photocopies of the duly filled application form

2. Passport: ⮟

• Valid at least 3 months beyond the stay in Spain with at least two blank pages.
• Not older 10 years when applying for a visa.
• Photocopies of all the pages of the current passport (including blank pages)
• Old passport (if any).

3. Police Clearance Certificate (6 Months Validity from time of applying Visa)

4. Photographs: ⮟

• 3 recent photographs; Size: 4.5cmx3.5 cm with 80% face focus.
• Not more than 3 months old with white background.
• 80% of face coverage with ears visible.
• Not more than 6 months old.
• Without Spectacles & Sunglasses.
• No Smiling face (Teeth should not be visible).

5. Documents: ⮟

• Invitation Letter from Spanish University /Institute- Admission Confirmation Letter.
• Transactions of the fee payment.
• Proof of sufficient economic means.
• Financial documents of parents must be accompanied by photocopy of the parent’s passports and a letter of responsibility

6. Travel Insurance Policy: ⮟

• Issued by insurance company as per the EU guidelines.
• Valid for at least 15 days from the date of return to India.
• Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros or 50,000 $
• Sworn declaration for travel insurance signed by the applicant
• Please find the below link to check the list of approved Travel Insurance Companies. Apart from the names listed below one can take travel insurance from any insurance company based in Spain

7. Proof of financial means during your stay you should provide one of the following: ⮟

• Salary slips for last six months. (Salary slips for last six months .If salary slip is less than six months then reason for not providing the same on covering letter or Company offer letter
• Original updated bank statement of the applicant for the last 6 months duly signed and stamped by the bank
• Income tax returns (ITR-V) for last three years
• If applicant does not have ITR for last three years then he/she can submit form 16.In case if the applicant do not file the ITR he/she have to provide a clarification letter for the same.
• Copy of PAN card of the applicant (if available).

8. Covering letter and other documents: ⮟

• Cover letter must include purpose and date of travel.
• Incase travel agent submitting application on applicant behalf then an authorization letter, signed by applicant has to be submitted.
• NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the company or educational institute (if applicable).
• Company registration certificate (if applicant owns a company)

9. Funds: ⮟

• Personal bank account statements showing at least Tuition Fee + €12,000 per annum of stay.

  Note:

• In case applicant has given Biometrics for a Schengen country after 4th Nov 2015, then his Biometrics will be valid for next five years. However in case Embassy of Spain or BLS requires fresh Biometrics then applicant has to be present for the same.
• The above is not an exhaustive list of documentation. Applicant can be requested to submit additional documents or may be called for an Interview (if required) by the Consulate General. The visa fee, according to Schengen regulations, is non-refundable.
• Company Bank Statements (Current A/c statement) are not acceptable
• The entire duration of stay € 65.52 Euros per person/ day of stay or € 589 per person for a minimum period of 7 day stay.
